Terminus ad Quem

"Terminus ad quem" is Latin for “the end to which something is aimed.” In a world filled with competing loyalties—politics, power, and personal comfort—Jesus redirects our aim. When asked about paying taxes to Caesar, He answered with divine clarity:

“Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
